🌊 Flow. Connection. Musicality. 🌊 Do you like the special, soft and flowing movement of Brazilian zouk, but have never tried it before? Or did you dance zouk some time ago and would like to rebuild your foundations? Now is the perfect opportunity to get started. Our Zouk Start course is back! During the course, we will start from the basics, build up gradually and get to know the movement patterns and techniques that you can build on later. The aim is not for you to learn everything in 3 hours, but to gain solid foundations and an insight into the movement of Brazilian zouk, and to experience what it feels like to move in flow, to music and together with a partner. 🌊 What is Brazilian zouk? Brazilian zouk is a special partner dance characterised by flowing, wave-like movement, continuous flow, varied musicality and connection with your partner. Conscious use of the body, weight shifts, the subtleties of leading and following, and allowing movements to connect not as separate figures but as one continuous movement flow all play an important role in the dance. ✨ What will you get from the course? • an insight into the special movement of Brazilian zouk • solid foundations that you can build on later • basic leading and following techniques • your first experience of flow and connection • 3 hours of focused learning and practice • a supportive, friendly environment where you can learn at your own pace And most importantly: ✔️ You can come as a complete beginner ✔️ We warmly welcome those returning to dance ✔️ No previous dance experience is required ✔️ You can come with a partner or on your own ✔️ We progress gradually, starting from the basics 🌟 What happens after the course? If you take a liking to zouk and would like to continue learning, after the course you will have the opportunity to join our Open Level Zouk Focus group, where you can deepen your knowledge based on the foundations and learn new movements and techniques. 📅 Date: 17 October (Saturday) 14:00–17:00 (3 hours with short breaks) 📍 Venue: Turn Terem 1 Debrecen, Mikepércsi út 10. 🎟️ Participation fee (paid at the venue): Solo: 10 500 Ft Coming as a pair (leader and follower): 10 000 Ft/person With an active Onyx zouk pass: solo 5 000 Ft, pair 4 500 Ft/person Student discount: solo 5 000 Ft, pair 4 500 Ft/person ⚠️ IMPORTANT – ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED!
