A Brazilian Zouk workshop and Fusion Jam–Zouk social await dancers across two rooms at VÍG1 Cultural and Movement Studio in Budapest.
The organizer’s own wording, without the other languages.
🥁 Premiere – for the first time ever 🥁 ✨ Fusion Jam & Zouk Social ✨ If you’ve already tried one style and enjoyed it, come along and give the other a go, too! What is Fusion Jam? – "We are not slaves of the rhythm" What happens when you pair a tango dancer with a West Coast Swing dancer? A salsa dancer with a contact improviser? A Zouk dancer with a Kizomba dancer? Or any combination of these? If you’re curious about the fascinating combinations that emerge when you aren't bound by the strict beat of the music, this is the place for you! What is Brazilian Zouk? Fluid, undulating movements, an exciting connection, and that "wow, how did we do that?" feeling. It can be soft, playful, or even surprisingly dynamic. The best part? You don’t need to know what to do beforehand—just come and discover it for yourself. 🗓️ Date: Thursday, October 8 📍 Location: VÍG1 Cultural and Movement Studio, 1137 Budapest, Vígszínház u. 1. 👀Program: - 20:00–21:00 Zouk Workshop - 21:00–00:00: Fusion Jam and Zouk party in 2 rooms 💸Tickets: 💃Party ticket (1 person): 3,000 HUF 🕺Workshop + party ticket (1 person): 4,000 HUF 💃&🕺Couple’s party ticket (1 leader + 1 follower arriving together): 5,000 HUF (i.e., 2,500 HUF/person) 💃&🕺Couple’s workshop + party ticket: 6,000 HUF (i.e., 3,000 HUF/person) >>> So find a partner and come as a pair—it’ll be better for everyone that way! 😉 If you check out the other room too amd like it, please drop an extra 500–1,000 HUF in the cash box. 💸Payment options: cash, Revolut or bank transfer 👜Bring along: - something to drink - dance shoes (socks, spin-friendly soles, flats, or sneakers are likely better choices here than high heels 😉) - a change of clothes (if needed) - a towel - an open mind and good vibes 🙂
