🎶 SALSA & TIMBA MUSICALITY WORKSHOP Musical interpretation at NG Can you hear something happening in the music, but don’t always know how to respond to it while dancing? Would you like to understand timba better and show through your movements what you hear? On 27 September, we’ll connect musical understanding with dance in a three-hour workshop! In two 90-minute blocks, we’ll progress from theory to practice. 🔥 🎧 15:00–16:30 | Musicality and theory – how is timba structured? We’ll explore the structure of timba music and observe its different sections and transitions. We’ll look at what to pay attention to while listening and what cues the music offers for dancing. 💃 16:30–18:00 | Practice – how do we dance the music? We’ll put into movement what we discovered in the first block.
