Frauke Aulbert (GER) and Góbi Rita: EchoSkin | Performance for body and voice

◖ Frauke Aulbert (GER) and Góbi Rita: EchoSkin | Performance for body and voice ◗ Where does one body end, and where does the other begin? How can we become stronger together without losing our own boundaries? EchoSkin is a genre- and art-form-crossing performance in which contemporary dance, experimental vocals and costume as living material meet. At the heart of the production are experimental singer Frauke Aulbert and dancer and choreographer Góbi Rita, who – with the contribution of their creative collaborators, costume designer Fruzsina Nagy and dramaturg Anna Zsigó – create a shared stage language through the continuous interaction of movement, sound and body. The performance explores different forms of symbiosis and codependency – interdependence, shared development, entanglement and their fragile balance. Frauke Aulbert is a classically trained singer who, alongside opera singing, has mastered numerous traditional and contemporary vocal techniques, including throat singing, beatboxing and the North Indian Dhrupad tradition. She regularly presents new compositions by living composers, and also works in composition and the creation of musical theatre productions. She most recently performed in Budapest as part of the 2020 Átlátszó Hang New Music Festival. The work of dancer, choreographer and dance teacher Góbi Rita is characterised by both precisely crafted choreography and bold experimentation. Her style is defined by changes in body and state unfolding from instinctive, monotonous and repetitive miniature movements; her sequences of movement slowly and consistently transform into one another. She continuously develops her unique technique, which is reflected in each of her choreographies. Their collaboration will undoubtedly result in an unimitably original and exciting performance. ========================= 🌏 Venue: Magyar Zene Háza, Koncertterem 📅 Date and time: 14 January 2027, 19:30 MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAMME: https://zenehaza.hu/esemeny/frauke-aulbert-ger-es-gobi-rita-echoskin For sold-out concerts, check our official secondary ticketing partner, TicketSwap!
